Pecor Optima are unique, helically corrugated double wall pipes used for building culverts and outdoor sewage pipelines system. They are made of high-density polyethylene with a diameter up to 1.4 meters. They are exceptionally light, economical to transport and easy to install. They are famous for their optimal design, cost-efficiency, and possibility to be delivered to remote areas.
The pipes are so light that one person can hold one. This makes them easy to transport and quick to assemble without heavy equipment. Plastic pipes are much cheaper than concrete ones. They can be delivered to remote areas with difficult access where concrete would be too heavy to transport, e.g., in the mountains.
The pipes are easily installed by being placed in excavation and connected using coupling bands. They tolerate uneven settlements of the subsoil very well. They can be successfully applied in soft soils and in mining subsidence areas.
The unique spiral structure of the walls allows to get the optimal stress distribution on the whole pipe length, as well as ensure the proper ring stiffness on each section. This makes the pipes suitable for any live load from the road or railway. The smooth surface of the inside wall also ensures excellent hydraulic parameters.
The pipes can be easily installed in the environments susceptible to corrosion as they are made of HDPE and are corrosion-resistant. The installation is season-independent and possible in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +75°C. The lifespan of the pipes is over 100 years.
Any damage can be quickly fixed in plastic pipes as opposed to concrete ones. You can create elbows or weld an additional part to the old pipe, even if the original structure is 100 years old.

They are stronger and wider than SuperCor®, Hamco MP200plus®. As opposed to CON/SPAN, they are made of steel and not concrete so they are more ecological and 30-40% more cost-efficient. And unlike Acrow® 700XS®, they are applicable for buried solutions but take a bit longer to install.
